More Submission Details as Below.
Pre-Organized Panels
1. The conference welcomes full panel proposals that include a nominated chair, three paper presenters and discussants (if desired). Panel proposals may also contain 4 papers but must adjust the presentation time to fit within a 90 minute Panel.
2. Panel organizers should encourage and actively help their panel participants to communicate among themselves before the conference. This will aid effective presentation and discussion at the panel.
3. For panels attracting more than 4 paper presentations, panel organizers must ask the Organizing Committee to arrange additional panel(s) for the topic; or refer the extra papers to the Organizing Committee to be included in other panels.
4. For additional panels, panel organizers should organize the papers into themes and give informative name(s) to the additional panel(s) rather than adding I, II, etc.to the same title. The panel organizer should nominate another person (or one of the presenters) to act as chair for additional panels.
Acceptance of Pre-Organised Panels and Papers
5. Panel organizers have the right to choose the papers to be included in their panels. However, they are encouraged to give priority to papers which reflect original empirical or theoretical research and have not been presented previously at other professional meetings. They are also encouraged to accommodate interesting paper proposals related to their panel theme as well as the paper(s) suggested by the Organizing Committee if possible.
6. All panel proposals, with full details of included papers, must be submitted for approval by the Organizing Committee. Panels will not be included in the conference programme without being formally accepted by the Organizing Committee.
7. All panel organizers and participants (i.e. chairs/presenters/discussants) must be registered for the conference. A panel is considered as "Proposed" rather than "Confirmed" if all its participants have not completed registration and will be listed as "Proposed" on the conference website. The status of "Proposed" panels will be updated to "Confirmed" once all registration is completed. In cases where not all participants register, the Organizing Committee may make arrangements to reorganise the panel with other registered participants and may change the title of the panel if necessary.
8. In cases of multiply authored papers in pre-organized papers, those authors who are actually presenting the paper must be registered for the conference. Otherwise the paper will be dropped from the conference programme.
9. Proposed panels will not be included in the conference programme book and will be taken off the conference website after the closing day of the registration if none of the participants has completed registration by then.
10. If, for any reason, a panel organizer is unable to follow through on the commitment of organizing a panel, the panel organizer should contact the Organizing Committee immediately.
